Foresters, we drive a lot, don't worry about the tundra, its gone, and dynatrac will build you anything you want. I go thru cars every two to three years, we spend a lot of time on dirt. I'm not trolling, just making a point, so put it back in your pants bro-ha. The explorer was a pile, the 3rd gen is racking up the miles. The WK2 is used for longer trips.

There is no version of the Trailhawk being made anymore for the WK2 and there was never a diesel version of it when it was being made, aside from the Mopar builds.

But you can buy the rock sliders and hood decal for a diesel and call it a Trailhawk or Trail(insert Native American Tribe name here), if you want. :flypig:

I had a JGC way back and it died on me at 88k miles. The dealer couldn't figure out why. Then I got my 2001 T4R and at currently 244k miles, I still have trouble finding reasons to let it go. Other than I'm so love with the 2016 T4R which I'm going to get soon!
 
My next door neighbor has a 16 JGC and its been to the dealership 7 times in its first 10k miles lol. That's a joke!

My brother got one of the first TrailHawk Grand Cherokees sold for the 2017 model year. He traded in his 2013 Grand Cherokee on it because he liked the offroad stuff that comes standard on the TrailHawk. It's actually a really nice vehicle. He hasn't had any problems with it and he also didn't have any problems with his 2013 either and I believe he traded it in with more than 80,000 miles on it.
 
well i just traded in a 2006 Jeep Commander 5.7L Hemi for a 2016 4Runner TEP. yea that just happened. I do miss the V8 power, but that Jeep was a frikin nightmare, couldn't stay outta the service shop. eventually Dealer bought it back. true story.
 
wow...i probably dodged a bullet on that one i guess.

i was shopping the Jeep Commander when i was shopping for, what i thought, was a true SUV to buy...something other than a cross-over.

i finally took it off of my list when i learned that it did have issues, was discontinued, and that there were other vehicles that i would be interested in...such as the Lex GX, an older LC, and the rig i ended up buying...see avatar
