Danny, look up Bessemer Mine Road and the Soggy Dry Lake. I used to have friends that raced in the MDR Off Road races out there years ago. Nice basic desert with some technical places as well.

Not sure if they still race out there (or if someone built a housing tract) but I'm going to try and find out.

Yeah, that happened. Just pick your viewing spots carefully and you'll be fine.

There are lots of interesting places to wheel up in the high desert. There are even some fun trails that run up from behind the Del Taco in Barstow.

What a coincidence: We have some trails right behind the Taco Bell where I live!
