Haha! Drunner97 you're an animal! I always cap my runs at 6 to 8 trucks

We're doing an Anza Borrego run March 23 - 26. I have 4 spots available for experienced rigs. Let me know if you (or anybody else) want to run with us

Hahaha. This has become a function to be sure. This isn't my typical planned run though and I actually prefer 4-6 trucks on a good weekend out. We had 20 rigs last year that camped all weekend, so this is just a larger version, hahah. I have a feeling it's going to be a total cluster **** and people will be camping where ever they want. It's gonna be great.

I figured I should let people in this meet up know that the member oneluv is showing noluv....He hasn't returned any calls or replies besides the one in this thread simply stating 'its sent' when in reality I don't believe it ever was. I tried to tell him I never received anything and to file something with paypal. No response via text or phone calls or PMs. He was really fast responding when he needed the spacer since he broke his. He did let me know when he received it and gave me a sob story with pics about how he broke his. I realize that my first mistake was sending him the spacer before I got the payment but he seemed like he could be a reputable member on the forum. I was very wrong... all over 20 bucks he couldn't afford to give me. I was asking for 10 bucks to cover shipping and another 10 for the used spacer. Learn from my mistake with this two faced member...he is not to be trusted! Im sure karma will handle this one...unless I find myself in desert hot springs. Everyone else, have fun on the trails!!

You know, if I had a used spacer sitting around, and someone I've never met broke theirs, I would send it to them for free. Maybe one day I would be on the trail with a blown tire and a missing spare and that same guy might pull up and offer me his spare.

To each their own..If he said he didn't have $20 in trade for the part and really really needed it, maybe I would have. I don't really know though because that didn't happen. What did happen was we both made a deal and he didn't do his part. I just had mine break a week before that deal was setup and had to buy a new set myself..I was keeping that one as a backup in case it ever happened to me again. As we all know, things break out in the field and its never a bad idea to have a backup of anything.

Feel free to come chat with him face to face. I'll tell you exactly where we're going to be this Saturday morning. I find it hard to believe that Miah stiffed you on purpose and I'm sure there's a good reason.

Hahah thanks bud. I would be there if I could! I'll be in Arcata this saturday which is roughly 12 hrs away. One of these days I'll make another trip to SD and maybe I'll plan it around a wheeling trip. Do me a favor and just ask him to send me a response. That would be greatly appreciated!

agreed with dave! i dont agree with blasting miah here but it appears he didnt have a choice.. 20 bucks aint shit and we all run through that quickly.. Miah obviously has a good rep here and a lot of us know him but i dont think its about the money here.. the dude obviously tried to contact him in a bunch of ways and didnt receive a reply.. so he took to the only other way he could think of.. the forums.. a bunch of us do deals/trades in the forums based on trust and reputation.. if you have a deal made you need to hold up your end.. :ak472:

So what I did do is pop 20 bucks in an envelope and mailed it to you since I have your address on the package...I was hoping there was another reason I needed to head your direction so I could give it to you face to face.
I'm also gonna just send you back the spacer and keep the 20 bucks for any of the inconvenience I may have caused , enjoy the beer money.

Yea im not sure what happened...I check my email daily and never received anything. I also checked our previous texts and the email is correct. Yes you did text me asking for my paypal email and I gave it to you right after that, but also asking that you wait to send payment until after I confirm that I can mail it through a $10 flat rate box. Once I found out that it would, I gave the green light on sending over the funds. I haven't had anyone yet tell me they got that message and I have done business through the same paypal account before and after this sale, but hey there is always a first and it probably won't be the last.
What I think may have happened is you could have read the email address wrong and maybe you tried to respond to that one. Like I said, I reread the email I sent and it's correct. I appreciate you telling me this now but I would have really liked it if you could have gotten ahold of me the same way we were already doing it...via text message or private message through the forum. I check my mail daily and still haven't received that package but I haven't been looking for it either. I will text you when I get it. Maybe PM or text me the tracking number? Thanks for the response, its all I was really looking for and it didn't work the other few ways I had tried (called a few times, left a voicemail once, sent a few texts, and sent a pm).

Unfortunately yes, got all caught up on my bills from missing so much work from this winter but have had no money to address a few things on the truck. Tie rod ends, and a serious missfire that I'm Hoping is just plug wires/plugs( my truck has been very temperamental about plug wires since I got it). And very overdue on all new fluids.

I'm pretty bummed is an understatement especially if it rains

With 60+ rigs wanting to attend....There will be plenty people in no rush to head home early...I'm sure wanting to do the same to see as much as possible. Since many of them are coming from some very far places and who knows when they'll be able to make it back out to JT. And there are a few others who are coming out on Sunday and Saturday night as well.
at any rate I would stay around to go putz around on some trails with you

If you really want to understand the size and magnitude of this run and the attention and interest it has recieved go on TW and read through its 52 pages as of now....combine that with this and you'll be blown away.
