are you guys going out exploring on sunday the 19 (weekend of the run)?
or is everyone packing up and heading out?
i only ask because i can meet up and join you guys for a sunday run
i been wanting to hit some dirt with you guys
if thats ok..

With 60+ rigs wanting to attend....There will be plenty people in no rush to head home early...I'm sure wanting to do the same to see as much as possible. Since many of them are coming from some very far places and who knows when they'll be able to make it back out to JT. And there are a few others who are coming out on Sunday and Saturday night as well.
at any rate I would stay around to go putz around on some trails with you

If you really want to understand the size and magnitude of this run and the attention and interest it has recieved go on TW and read through its 52 pages as of now....combine that with this and you'll be blown away.

I'm looking forward to exploring JT! Checked out barker dam, petroglyphs, windmill pump, rusty cars, some offroading and hiking last time I was there. Can't wait to see what you got Miah being it's your backyard. Still have 1 more cv axle to reboot and change then Lucy Pearl should be good. Thinking about bringing Lola but I like having a fridge instead of a cooler! HEHE!

^ this. I have to split first thing in the morning to take my son to his mom in highland but I'm planning on circling back around to help with cleanup for a few hours and maybe tool around some.

Also. Epic run has become a massive epic run. Be there or be square. I'll be PMing people starting next week for confirmations and to give coords once we decide after this weekend's run.

Do the 12v anytime mod on Lola, bam constant power in the back. There's plenty of us to jump you if you run the battery down, hahah.

Don't think I didn't think about it. I don't want to have to take the roof rack and Led bar off Lucy Pearl and put the rack on Lola. Or I could get another rack from soso's fab guy to put on lola...hmmm tax refund that's a thought...

He makes them for 5th gens too, I think Kunaal has one from him and also Tom that 5th gen that took drone footage of us doing that water crossing a long time ago.

I've been getting members hitting me up saying they have been trying to reach him, not sure why he isn't responding back? Maybe he's just busy with life or going on trips who knows?!?!?

i just need to get my sliders welded up still and i should be good to go
also order a beofang so i can fit in with you guys

im thinking of hitting berdoo canyon rd next week just to scope out the terrain a bit
its pretty close to me

Yeah I'm pretty sure he's still busy building them for people but he just got done building this dope ass drawer system so maybe that was taking up a lot of his time. Just be patient when you contact him he should eventually respond back.

Hahah. Not hard to drum up an event when you're posting on 2 of the biggest off road toyota forums in the nation. Can't even imagine what would have happened if I'd put this on the FJ forums too, but I don't hang out without any FJ guys so I have no reason to be there. Organization isn't exactly my strong suit, so we'll see how well this actually turns out, hahaha.

The list on TW is the current full list as of when I called a cap the other day. Once we scout out the area, I may remove the cap. I'll be PMing everyone on the list individually with some bullshit rules that I hope everyone can agree on (simply to add some order to the chaos, nothing ridiculous) and once agreed on I'll send the coordinates to the campsite. The reason I'm doing this is so that the campsite isn't overrun by outside groups that just happen to see the coordinates posted and begin to think "big ****ing party, let's go crash it!" I'm sure we've all seen what happens to a house party when word gets around, hahah.

Hey man, just some shots of that area. This is a common place we bring big parties out there too. It's the dry lake bed off the flats. It can get windy there, but it will do that anywhere. I know of a few spots we can get that sit a little lower down.



This area has everything from mines, sand hills and mud pits. Best part is no problems with Rangers.




I'd suggest maybe the camp ground on that weekend right off the flats but the music festival is the same weekend. Joshua Tree Lake RV and Campground
