Getting worried my lift wont show up in time. Ordered mid Feb, but i hear Icon is getting backed up. They gave me a 3 - 4 week window which expires on Wed. Hopefully it makes it, but if not ill be Bummed! was looking forward to having it for this trip.

That's a bummer, would definitely help cushion the ride with some of the fire roads but the roads themselves really aren't anything super technical. Haven't really seen anything that actually required 4wd yet but I also haven't explored a lot of this area yet either.

1) Goblue82(TW) is willing to meetup with people Friday Afternoon at Love's Travel Shop in Coachella.

"Meet time is 1600-1700 at Loves truck stop in Coachella, CA. I will be departing promptly at 1700. If you need to air down (yes, you need to air down) show up at 1645. We will be making time so this run is best for the experienced non stock shock personnel. 4wd is suggested but not needed if you have a locker. I would normally say 2wd no locker is fine but we have no time to play around teaching at this hour. No stock/ P rated tires please."

Honestly I think 100hp is generous. My motor is old and tired so maaaaybe 80 the the wheels haha. But it doesn't really matter in 4lo.
Hopefully next year I'll have the budget to swap in a 3.4

Here, I'll help you out. I was looking at the maps earlier, and if you make the right turn off of gold crown either you'll find us, or you'll very likely loop back to Gold Crown. At that point you try again until you find the right combination of turns, hahahahah.

Considering Google maps will get you 90% of the way there and where it stops we should be in sight? Yeah no pity on anyone getting lost. haha.

Sounds good, I will be using Google maps. What is the Trail like entering from the south through Cottonwood? Not worried about my vehicle but my friend with a 2WD Isuzu open diff A/T tires would like to go.
