Considering Google maps will get you 90% of the way there and where it stops we should be in sight? Yeah no pity on anyone getting lost. haha.

But between google maps and locus map I think I should be ok. Couple of rights and a left I'm there! I looked a couple of routes from Berdoo canyon and cottonwood that looks awesome, I would have left friday to have more time if it weren't for work.

Sounds good, I will be using Google maps. What is the Trail like entering from the south through Cottonwood? Not worried about my vehicle but my friend with a 2WD Isuzu open diff A/T tires would like to go.

I did it in 2wd and open diff. I'd say it depends on their level of comfort off road because there are a couple sections where tire placement is key otherwise you may be dragging parts.

Here, I'll help you out. I was looking at the maps earlier, and if you make the right turn off of gold crown either you'll find us, or you'll very likely loop back to Gold Crown. At that point you try again until you find the right combination of turns, hahahahah.

Is it an Isuzu trooper? Has he ever driven off pavement with it? If he has and does use it off pavement then he will be fine.. those rigs are very capable even 2wd. Any issues would be driver error on the drive in.

It's gonna be a real f'ing circus. I have to check my list when I get to work tomorrow but I heard from a buddy that there's some guys from TW that may not be on the list planning on coming with another guy that I already gave the coordinates to.

Don't thank me yet, hahahah. Doing my best to make sure everyone has a good, legit, and safe time, but still to be seen what the universe actually has in store for us this weekend.

We are committed. It's last minute-ish, but we cleared the weekend. I even got the wife's permission to pull my son out of school a little early on Friday so we can beat some traffic and get there on Friday evening.

We are going to join the TW group going up Berdoo Cyn. I have the meeting spot location, but I'm curious how we are getting from Berdoo to the Old Dale area. I'm trying to muster the courage to read 96 pages of banter and a picture of a dude in stilettos and a leopard print skirt.

Roughly you travel up Berdoo and through the middle of the park.

This is specifically for people coming in on Friday that don't want to go around to the 62. Since Greg's likely to already be at camp, it's a long run to get back to this point. If there aren't enough people then we're going to just go ahead and cancel that meetup.
