They loaded into Locus without any problems. Did you get these Miah's map? They were duplicates of what were already in my device, so I must have imported them from Miah's map or California Trail Map.

Garmin basecamp software. Greg said they were mostly on the California trail maps as well, but not everyone is running those.

We are the only ones signed up for this option. If it gets cancelled, are you still interested in meeting and going up Berdoo? The other option is meeting at Cottonwood and at least driving up Old Dale.

There two trucks coming from up north trying to make this. Greg's about over it, but I may make the run anyways since it was offered up as an option. I'll send Greg on the 6pm gold crown meetup or something, hahah. Although I'll probably do thermal canyon to pinkham to old dale, it's a much more direct route with a lot less pavement.

How do you load this into Locus?

Try these steps:

1. Open the Google Maps link in your browser (web version only).
2. Look for the red colored title bar at the top left of the screen. Click on the three stacked dots next to the search icon on the right side of the red bar.
3. Click on 'Download KML'.
4. Connect your device.
5. Locate the saved .kml file on your computer and save a copy to the folder on your device that contains your maps.
6. Open Locus Map.
7. Click on the menu icon at the top left of the screen.
8. Click on 'Import data'.
9. It should open directly to the maps folder and you should see the .kml/waypoint file.
10. Click on the .kml file and then click on 'IMPORT'.

Locus should then do it's thing and import all of the waypoints.

I have the same schedule as you. I need to work until noon. My plan is to pick my son up from school, load the rest of the family, and get on the road. 4 pm should be good, unless there are any other trucks who are going to shop up before the posted 5 pm departure.

We are committed. It's last minute-ish, but we cleared the weekend. I even got the wife's permission to pull my son out of school a little early on Friday so we can beat some traffic and get there on Friday evening.

We are going to join the TW group going up Berdoo Cyn. I have the meeting spot location, but I'm curious how we are getting from Berdoo to the Old Dale area. I'm trying to muster the courage to read 96 pages of banter and a picture of a dude in stilettos and a leopard print skirt.

There's a wash you might not get it across. I've got one group coming Friday morning that's pulling a pop-up tent trailer. He'll be the test. Anything bigger though likely won't make it. [MENTION=59079]jdemello[/MENTION] is gonna park his Rv somewhere along gold crown rd though so you can always post up with him if you can't make it all the way.
