Pretty sure he's full of shit. I haven't been to monache meadows, but I doubt 500 trucks will be there. Hahahaha.
If anything, I expect there will be a pismo meet late summer. The tw guys had like 20 or 30 rigs there in August last year. I missed that one for my own adventures.

Kids have spring break next week and took off wed on. Thinking about going up JT and exploring again next week. I want to hit Berdoo canyon, geology, barker dam area and the mines around chillitown. Whose down? I know you're down Miah!

Geology no, You're inside JTNP at that point and they don't allow dispersed camping. Berdoo I'm not sure, but I'd imagine you could because it's BLM land through most of it.

Thurs night to Sunday at lunch was about perfect. If I hadn't just done the 3 hour tour with Robbie trying to get him to his mom, even though she failed to show, I would have come hung out with you guys a lot longer. We both needed a break from sitting.

That sucks! 3hrs wasted instead of wheelin. I'm taking advantage of being off wed on. Plan is start at JT 2days and head to anza to julian on the way back. Really take the time to explore. Kids didn't see the metal arts when we were at Anza. Ohh forgot, lola's down right now. Need to change front wheel bearings and lca ball joint. Have a bad wobble. FUN!

Sounds like a good run. I'm trying to decide what I'm going to do for Robbie's spring break in a couple weeks. I was supposed to have the whole week off, but it's looking like I'll have to be at work at least that Mon/Tues so that blew some of my more ambitious plans like going back to DV. Probably head out towards Calico for a couple days or something.

Same here! Couldn't get the whole week. DV and calico sounds fun! I still want to do Mojave rd but desert season window is closing fast.

Mojave Road was on my list for that week too, but I decided to put it off until fall. Starting to get too hot and I didn't know if anyone else would be able to make it with me. I'll wait until Fall for that one.
