No clue. I'm just betting higher elevation roads are going to be blocked for a bit longer than normal this year. Weren't we at like 200% of our sierra snow pack or something?

Ya it's about 200-240% up there. At lot of high elevation roads probably won't be open until July. Mammoth will be open till July to put things in perspective

My sister and Brother in law go to Tahoe every summer too. Still haven't been. I have to keep everything kid friendly in towns so it's not like I can just hop from bar to bar. At least when I'm getting tanked out camping I give him boundaries and let him run around until it gets dark, then he just hangs out at the fire and burns sticks, hahah.

Put Tahoe on your list...there is so much stuff to do that is kid friendly. I try to make it every year sometimes a couple times a year

It's on the list, I just haven't gotten that far yet. I'll probably take a week off in August before Robbie goes back to school and head north. Last year I had a hotel room out of Kernville so we hung out on the river and lake for a few days. Hoping to get up into some of the fun stuff off the 395 this year.

Wth, you would've seen well,ALL of us around last weekend for an epic camping trip where the day runs were split into perfect sized groups and were just all around awesome.

there is SO much to do in and around Tahoe. Campgrounds abound (Fallen Leaf Lake is our favorite car camp spot in the area) and endless hiking trails of all difficulty levels. Horsetail Falls is going to be insane this year, and we have a (not-so-)secret swimming hole spot about an hour south of Tahoe, past Kirkwood and Silver Lake. Stoke seeds are sprouting right now and will be in full bloom in May when school is out.

Miss going up there. We used to go skiing/snowboarding when I use to live in norcal. We used to go to kirkwood, donner, squaw, sugar bowl, heavenly. Parents use to gamble at caesar palace. AHH good times.

Berdoo yes...geology Rd is in the actual park boundaries so you have to stay at one campgrounds within the park
