If anyone wants to join the camp I'll be up there thur-sat at hanna flats. Pretty excited for the run! I just ran the easier section of John bull and gold mountain friday, weather was perfect!

I've got LCAs coming, might have those 2.5 icons within two weeks, and I have all the stuff for the breather mod. I'm free in 2 weeks if I have those icons hahah.

I would like to do the breather mod to avoid blowing out my seals again if I ever decide to go through deep water. What all do I need to get so I can have it ready for the install party?

I don't know with the 4th gens. In the 3rd gen the front is extended up higher by the battery from the factory.

The first 3/4 of white mountain you'll be ok, but the last 1/4 will def give you some trouble in 2wd without a locker..,not saying you won't make it or anything but it will be a bit of a challenge. Some of the hill climbs require a more of a slow speed or you could get bounced right off the trail

You can do a lot with 4runner 2WD but you need at least a lift and a good AT tires to minimize under carriage damage and increase climbing ability. I have a 2WD myself and have run cleghorn, pilot rock, jacoby canyon etc. with no problems. Some sticky area but my rig handled it quite well. You just have to pick your line and find the happy medium with the throttle per [MENTION=117408]Oneluv13T4R[/MENTION]. I'm now waiting on my Spartan locker this week for install, hopefully this weekend. In any case, you will be with fellow member that can get you out of anything. See you there!

There's only one bad part about that idea...being my chick is the one to make the comment to me...I'm in the Palm Springs area and it can be damn hot..lol. I'm use to it and sweating my ass off while wrenching on my rigs but it can be miserable for some..lol.
My house is great spot for mod party plenty of space for rigs but my garage doesnt have a/c but I do have a big as portable swamp cooler out there and some fans...my house is a/c and cold. There is a massive pool and pool area in our country club just down the corner from me to take a dip in...and another thing is there's tons of trails in my back yard ..literally and fire arms are permitted as well .we could go run a trail or two before or after.

BUT...it is summer time in Palm Springs average 105-110 degrees last couple weeks and hanging outside under hot rigs ...well it's hot. Lol

Just wanted to put that out there.

That's awesome and welcome...when we get to the hard part there is a bypass trail that will take you to the end of that section where we all meet up and have lunch so don't worry ..it's the best time to take her out on the trails since we will all be there.

Man, you set the bar high! I'm hella excited for this install! I got it from quick performance inc. I spoke to Brydon, got the gear and bearing kit for cheap compared to others online. Let me know when ur ready to order.

Hey guys can I make a suggestion? If you're planning on starting at the Crab Flats OHV entrance why not meet at the parking area next to Green Valley Lake. There's plenty of room, a general store for last minute items, restrooms, and we can take a shorter and more fun route down to 3N16.

Also, I have a couple extra bedrooms and live alone so there's plenty of room if anyone wants to come up Friday and go for a quick sunset cruise after some burgers on the grill - just hit me up if you're interested.
