Very nice pic's AJ....I envy the hell out of you guy's , look's like so much fun.

In all honesty do you think a stock v8 sport could make it through with a set of AT's 265/70/17's ? I would'nt think so but just wondering how it would fair out in your opinion.

There were some places where stock won't go through.
There are two ways pass those places: take a good run and try to take over with speed, but you may break something; second is winching it out. That's why if you decide to go wheeling, do it with someone who has experience in it.
My 4Runner has only MT/Rs and 2

Thank's AJ, the reason I asked is I too have been off roading for year's , everything from S-10's , to big lifted 4x's. I've had lot's of truck's and love wheeling. So far I'm pretty impressed with the runner and it's off road ability.

I saw you have Toyota skid plate in your signature. I'm thinking that this is Tacoma ones. If it is, I would recommend to remove it before going to serious off-road. It's mostly for looks and won't protect in serious impact. Couple weeks ago I've seen guy with Tacoma and that skid plate. He bend it at the beginning of the trail and riped it off in the middle. It actually made more damage then if it wasn't there. Unfortunately Toyota doesn't makes good skids for their vehicles. They are thin and have too many holes. My stock skid is bend all around and I'm replacing it for custom made next week. Stock one won't work any more; the vehicle is only 1yr. old.

Alex, I honestly consider it a brush/stick plate....lol , it's nice when driving through brush to protect the lower rad. & cooler , but I would take it off if you don't want to damage it. It's is 95% a cosmetic mod but I still feel every little bit of protection count's. Hey if it deflect's a stone or small rock from shooting into the Rad. it's worth it to me. I just leave it on and what ever happen's , happen's...... It was like 110.00 so not overly concerned.

Yes, it worth every penny on gas to spend a day there. I'm planing to return to that trail soon.

Yep, the enviroment is little bit different. You have more desert and wide open country, we - mud and forest tiny trails.
