I'm at work so no more pics til tomorrow. That last pic in post #197 is with the front drivers door open and looking straight down.

They are meant as steps too as well as rocker protection. I wear size 11 shoe and can easily use it as a step. It's still a pretty high step though with the lift.They do make it easier to get in and easier on the seat bolster though rather then stepping the whole way in like before.

Still going to put on a Gobi Stealth rack and lights on top when they come out for the 5ths. Hopefully ,when I'm in Colorado in July, I can have Gobi put it on there to save on shipping.They are right outside of Denver in Commerce City.

Gotta start working on more offroad recovery tools and getting the inside audiophile worthy now though.
 
The sliders look awesome and as expected looks like they fit perfect. I fully expect to start seeing some off road shots now.
 
looks great. i wonder if they will even design a slider for limited, given the weight of the slider and the supports would have to curve around the rocker.

Gary, you mentioned the Gobi rack...do you know something we don't, have you talked to them, or are you speculating? I would love to know if they have something in the works...please do share.

She ran great offroad today ,although ran into some swamps down in the lowlands and almost got stuck a couple of times.Did'nt even air down though.Too muddy to get out for pics down in there.Some dirty pics are down below.

Yep, it's the semi-gloss black and matches up to the satin black pretty good. No, I hav'nt tried jacking it up by the sliders as I don't have a high lift jack yet. These things are heavy duty and I doubt there will be any problem there.

I talked to them last month and they said they were working on them and had a 2010 coming in for test fitting. I hav'nt called them back yet.They are definitely coming out with them. I need the stealth ones as I only have 8 inches of height left to get in my garage now that I have the lift.

that thing kicks ass dude.... i think this will be my 3rd time asking cause u havent answered yet but do you plan on a BL to fit 34's or 35's eventually? i know one hasnt been made yet but im sure 4crawler is all over it right now. i did notice you said you only have 8 inches left in the garage so idk. i think it would be sick though.

He did answer a question about 35's by saying that it was going to be awhile before he did it because of gearing.

This thing is awesome! You have done a great job and I am looking forward to continuing to watch the mod bug bite you haha!
 
^^ well damn somehow i missed it cause i have followed this thread since he first took off the chrome trim. my bad haha
 
You T4R is really looking good. I'm waiting on a set of Shrockwork sliders for my TE. Knowing your T4R started life as a Limited do you think the installation will be diferent for a TE? I know there are some differences such as full length skid plate on gas tank. Thoughts?
