Hey harper7, can you tell me what driving bulbs you are using? I noticed the lens area is clear instead of seeing the stock amber bulb. Is it a mirror 2825 bulb or maybe an led? Thanks!

The stock bubs are 1156NA ,with the NA meaning "Natural Amber"
You can buy clear ones at Walmart for like $1.00 a piece that are 1156 bulbs.Without the NA they are clear.Cheap easy mod but not really legal as flashers are supposed to be amber.But these 5ths are kinda wierd in that they use the same light for a flasher and a DRL(at least on the Limited's),and DRL's are usually white/clear. I bought some LED ones online awhile ago and they didn't work. Had something to do with the flasher not compatable I read somewhere or another. I also had some blueish 1157's from my M3 that I ground down the tab and had in for awhile. They were too blue!
I bought some PIAA 1156 bulbs but hav'nt got them yet to see if they work....... Some bulbs are finicky about wattage.PIAA Corporation USA - 1156 Miniature Xtreme White Plus

Harper7, you have a lot more guts than I have for dismantling your entire vehicle and doing these mods. I'm really interested in doing the projector HID mod and thought it was cost prohibitive seeing what Lightwerkz charges. The S2000 lenses are incredible. You mentioned using in essence toothpicks to level the light before you sealed them, but how could you figure out the true center mass of light with the lenses? is there a way to put an image on the projector to get a grid pattern on a wall for adjustment?? I"m not sure at all how to proceed aside from eyeballing it. I have a 2010 f150 and 2010 4R LE that I want to do this mod to and need to figure it out.

I fabbed the front filler piece myself out of 7075T6 aluminum. I think Bud makes a similar filler piece now though.
I finally got my dual battery kit wired up yesterday.Took me awhile as the kit had some wiring problems that about drove me crazy. I made the battery tray for the Optima Blue top a couple of weeks ago. I had to relocate the power steering reservoir on the side of the tray and make a bracket for the AC line.
It was headache as they had wires half arsed crimped on the 85amp relay and in the isolator and the monitor doesn't work right. I had to troubleshoot and redo a couple of wires.It was cheap and I guess I got what I paid for!!
edit..3/25/11 Ended up dumping the junk 85amp system and put in a Cole Hersee 200amp isolator and it's been working perfectly.
GF needed a battery on her 3rd Gen so I put my oem Panasonic in hers and bought a Odyssey 34R PC1500 battery with 944cca and 135min Reserve.

Next projects......I'm waiting on my new Bajarack Flat Utilty rack and bought a winch to go on the inside of the bumper braced with a inner steel bumper to keep the stock look of the frontend.

Thanks Stephanie!You sure do work fast, Gary! Your 4 is looking awwwesome... as always. Really liking the S2k retrofit. I think that is what I miss most about my old S. Now I can have the best of both worlds.
Hey Josh...... I bought that tank off a friend of mine at work and he had it awhile as an extra he was going to put up under his Jeep. He said he didn't remember but thought it was a 3 gallon,which it's not.It's either a 2 or 2 1/2 gallon with 6 ports. I can take measurements of it if you want. Yep , winch is going behind that big arse bumper cover on mine, at least til someone comes out with a aftermarket bumper I really like.

With just OEM fogs....
With lowbeams,highbeams and all the fogs on. I have some Toshiba HIR 9011 bulbs on order for the high beams which put out about twice as much light as the 9005's. Rigid Ind.'s new Paramount LED's will be up top on the roof when I get my flat Bajarack

Sure looks like it, I know he's been working on a hidden style winch mount for a little while now. Probably got tired of waiting for a solution and created one himself which he tends to do. Now if only he went into mass producing his creations and selling them online. :biggrin2:

good eye...lol....That's just a roller fairlead I bolted up there to check the fit and give the fab guy and idea of how I want it.It has black polyurethane rollers for synthetic rope and it's a perfect fit in the lower grill. It's going to sit back about another inch after I cut the lower grill out right there. I have a winch and a winch plate to go on the inside ,I just have to get Justin at Rocktek to fab an internal steel bumper to tie into the frame for support .
