Looks identical to my 3rd gen...huh crazy.
And yes you would if you had it all set up with suspension and tires and a lil armor...come on. That trail driven right done right spotted right and take your time doesn't have to be all that, lots of these guys throttle heavy and slap themselves all over the place on that trail.And there's a lot of sections on that trail you can just go to left or right a lil to get around a lot of the redonkulous boulders.

Yep, if I had full armor I would run that trail. Wheel smarter not harder

Are you saying that from first hand experience?? I have heard about the trail and seen videos, but never on it. Is it a lot of boulders or are there some scary off camber descents thrown in the route.

Damn. When I mentioned JB I was just throwing it out there to attract a wider range of wheeler. No way meant for noobs. JB can be done with just 33s, sliders, and at least a rear locker. A front would definitely help but I got thru without it. However not having one leads to taking lines to avoid the 'redonculus' boulders. Which can lead to body damage($hit!). The best thing about BB is that so many levels of trail are all right next to each other.

Wow, that looks like a pretty advanced area. Can you suggest some moderate trails to practice on for noobs to get good training to sharpen skills for JB.

A couple great trails that I had fun on are White Mtn.(3N17) and Jacoby Cyn.(3N61). Both blue square rated.
Getting past the gatekeeper with E-ROCKER and RedRun85 spotting.

If we go to big bear join us! The route I planned has a little bit of everything but seeing a very few are equipped to run JB we try to make the runs fun for everyone. As Quatre said white mountain is a good trail( we ran that last November) and we'll be running Jacoby canyon if we decide to make the run up there at the end of the month

One of the best way to sharpen your skills is to wheel with other people. I learned without anyone to wheel with( not smart don't do that) , but when your with others trucks you can push your limit and learn must faster

I second to just joining in. I was in your situation about 2 mo's ago and I'm hooked. These group of guys are great and the philosophy of "No Man Left Behind" is taken very seriously. My boys and I felt very safe during the run. We also have camped with some of them and it was good times. They are more than welcome to share their knowledge. The leaders are very knowledgeable and taken in to consideration your rig and experience. SEE YOU THERE!

Yeah,
And @Quartre Coureur said it perfectly below ....what basic mods it takes and what damages maybe/ but most likely will occur and shows it in his pic what to expect most of time. JB commands respect and a lil patience if you roll out of there unscathed.

Right on, your words of advice seem sound. Patience and respect for starters.
I don't take anything lightly in SoCal, especially Big Bear. I would rather start slow and gain more knowledge about wheeling. It was a fun time last month with the group and a couple of weekends ago with mnray8909. Sounds like a good plan to travel with T4R.

Trying to camp up there also one or two nights.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to where to camp the night before the run? I'm not familiar with the area would love a bit of guidance.
