Have had the AT Revo's on my XTerra for the last 2 years and LOVE them on and off road. Will buy these tires again for both trucks when I need to

I not sure I will buy them again , I would like to try the GY silent Armor . Like the tread on those , good reviews on Tirerack too.
The Revos are a nice tire , for some reason I really have trust issues with them for any off road use. Already have a few little chunks missing. Talked to 2 local dealers about it and they actually recommended I not take them off road because they are not made for that with the Uni-T compound. More of an aggressive all season tire , or a road all-terrain tire IMO. That kind of bothers me because I take the 4r everywhere if there is a trail or not.

I don't know, I've had my XTerra off road(not rock climbing mind you, but mud and creeks and forests) and I don't have any chunks missing and still have plenty of tread left in them.

Revos are fine for trails (like in Chicago 
) where you do encounter a bit of everything but I've seen them chunk a bit on rocky terrain but that's where you get the compromise for a mileage warranty and great on-road handling.
I only put about 11k on my truck a year so my Nittos work great as a daily driver tire and off road they handle the tough stuff fine.
