I finally ordered some 5100s for my 2004 4runner. I plan on setting them on the 1.75 setting in the front and putting a set of Air Lift 1000 bags in the rear. Hopefully I lose most but not all of the rake by doing this.

Have you seen the 5160 rear reservoir shock now available. I have had the 5100 and airbag setup for 6months now, but I was disappointed that the 5160 just came out after a few months of installing the 5100s. However, the 5160 rear is each about $100 more expensive plus you need to get reservoir brackets and to keep it clean a shock boot cover ). Please measure the initial height before the installation (remember your gas level as it affects the height on the driver side). I had to set mine on the 0.75" setting and I got about a 1.5" raise. I initially had it on the 1.75" setting but it was more like 2.5"-2.7". Again, this was for me others on this forum got the raise they were suppose to get. Also, I got about a 0.5" raise in the rear just by putting in the rear shocks. Putting the airbags raise is it just a fraction more, too - not much at the minimum air setting.
As far as the 1.75 setting are you referring to the front? I have seen where guys were getting about 1" with the .85 setting but have not seen where anyone was getting 2.5" on the 1.75 setting. Maybe I am wrong, but I am sure the v8 vs. v6 will have some effect. From measuring the front and rear I have about 3 inches to level. It is also hard to tell because my shocks have 103000 miles on them and they are worn out. If anyone else has done what I am planning and has other suggestions please chime in.
What do the air bags do for you?
I ordered the shocks from Wheelers and they said the rears are on backorder so I will have to wait a couple of weeks.
