I wonder if the Rigid Dually colored lenses would clip onto these?

Eagerly anticipating some output pics with the vinyl!

I thought of that. I need to email Rigid and see if they will give me the dimensions of the covers. If they at least fit but don't clip on I can modify the housing somehow. Vinyl is showing to arrive on the 23rd. I have the worst luck with USPS so we'll see. So far they've lost 2 packages in a row shipped to me. Regardless, I'm eagerly waiting as well...

Were a few of those wheeling pics taken around Chenal mtn and in the area where they were doing construction before the Promenade was built? I used to mess around out there as well before they screwed it all up by putting a mall there.

I live in West Little Rock, so most likely you have. You would be correct. Every now and then I go up to Chenal Mountain to play around. It's not much but it gets me off the pavement. There's bit of a flexing playground off to the right once you get up there but every time I go it seems they dig out the ditch more and more making it harder to get to. I miss 'Chenal Mud' (that's what we called it). The fun I had out there during High School was endless. There's nothing left of it now. There was another trail out Denny Road off of old Kanis. The entry to Chenal Mud was on the right where the gate is (was sometimes open) and Denny Mud was to the left a little farther down. It's all blocked off now. So now I just have to drive to Hot Springs and go to the offroad park

We'd go out there at night sometimes and start fires and drink beer, errr, soda... Good times. I think our friends from Deltic Timber put some big ass rocks or something in front of the entrance if I remember correctly. It has been a long time since I've driven by.

I used to go to Deny in high school as well. There was a steep hill off the side of the road that went down into a little clearing that had a couple mud holes in it. We'd go out there at night sometimes and start fires and drink beer, errr, soda... Good times. I think our friends from Deltic Timber put some big ass rocks or something in front of the entrance if I remember correctly. It has been a long time since I've driven by.

YUP! That was bonfire central for a good while. There were two entrances.. The 2nd one had that really steep hill. I never tried going up it, always came from the other direction. They have both blocked off with concrete and boulders now. Too many people dumping trash and junk back there ruined it for everyone else. That and the burnt to a crisp stolen vehicle that was recovered back there.

I think you could probably get around the block on the 2nd entry and go up the hill if you could make it. I remember getting my jeep pretty good stuck in that mud hole coming the other direction before going down the big hill. Good 'ol days haha.

I had a Jeep Wrangler in high school too and I had water coming through the doors once or twice in the deeper hole that you're talking about. My best friend had a 2wd 3rd gen 4runner and he was fearless with that thing when we went to Denny. I was always amazed how well it did. Small world, huh?

Haha yup it sure was a Grand Cherokee. I had a green 4 door regular Cherokee back then. Was an obnoxiously loud thing too. Crazy small world lol.

Went to the park yesterday. Tons of people, mainly for the Arkansas Crawlers club run. I had a blast. [MENTION=44866]ARK_SWAMP_RIDER[/MENTION] and his wife decided to ride with me and his wife did a marvelous job at playing photographer. There must be over 100 pictures lol. Was a gorgeous day, couldn't have asked for better weather. Ground was still awfully loose and wet, but that just makes it more fun and challenging right?

There's a story to these next few pics.. Short version is: came up to an obstacle, went left, fought to make it over, snapped a cv clean in half, backed up, replaced cv, went right, fought to make it over, dug out a rut and wasn't making it, backed up, went left AGAIN, almost made it, and finally gave up and winched out. Was very frustrating considering I've made this obstacle multiple times. Just doesn't help that everything was pretty wet.

Thanks. The cv is a free hiccup.. Life time warranty, thank god. Although, I believe the Advanced Auto Parts store I usually take them back to is getting suspicious. Might have to go to a different one lol. I think this one will be my 7th Grant it, not all of them were broke, I think a couple had torn boots and I just replaced the whole thing instead of dealing with rebooting them. Good thing for 2 on board spares!



So, I MIGHT be going to Katemcy Rocks in Mason,TX for the 10th annual LoneStar Land Cruiser Round Up, March 14th -17th. It's about a 9 hour trip! Quite a few people in my local club are going and I may take a much needed vacation to go wheelin' on some new terrain... I need to get a few things done to the runner though. It's time for the timing belt replacement and all that goes with it bc I'm bout to roll over to 170k. Want to flush the transfer case, transmission, and radiator. Change diff fluids, replace fuel filter, rear axle bearing and seals. If I order my rear bumper next month there's a chance I won't have it in time, which is a bummer. Want to get my roll bar back in so I can start building my sleep platform and tool storage around it, but don't know if I'll have enough time for that. So many things to do, not enough time!

They've asked how I broke them but I usually don't go into detail. Although, this one is going to require some thinking if they require a reason since it looks like someone took a light saber down the middle of the shaft lol.





The yellow vinyl tint finally came in. It's hard to tell in the pic, the light output seems lower than what it really is. It's actually pretty bright. I need to get a better camera, especially for night shots.

I have a friend that works there but he's not always working. It helps though. Oh trust me, I park around on the side where they can't see my vehicle lol.
