It looked and seemed like a very good capable rig. I was really hoping he'd be interested in some kind of trade. Oh well. If I sold my truck I could probably buy it, but that takes too long.

That's my old taco. It's had some work done since I had it (bobbed, new rear bumper, removed front bumper, removed beadlocks & PBR's)

The body is pretty beat but it's definitely a capable rig. Also needs to be dropped 2-3" for my liking.

I never even realized it but it makes sense now. He must have cleaned it up a little. Unless the pics are a little unrevealing of all the body damage. Doesn't even look like the same truck. I should have traded YOU for it when I had the chance lol.

Front LCA Skids went on last night. Man what a PITA they were. You have to drill one hole out and it's 1.5" thick cast steel so it's not easy at all. I broke 2 of the 5 industrial grade bits I had Jerry (BAMF) send me with the skids. Finally, lining up all the holes is tricky as well. Glad it's over with lol.

Those are nice! I've always wondered why front lower control skids are not more common. Seems like good insurance as they are vulnerable. I've often considered welding on some plate (esp if its 1.5" thick).
I've yet to come up with a good way to drill thick metals.
Great work, as always.

If they were that hard to install, let's hope you NEVER have to take them off. They'll be as torqued as a skid plate after bashing for several rides...
