Hello, here is a link to both sides of the front wheels,

I have noticed on 1 side there is rubber under what seems to be the kdss sway bar.

And on the other side, there is nothing.

I just wanted to know if its normal, I noticed this today when I washed the truck. Thank you

Yes ,normal. Drivers side has the hydraulic actuator attached to the frame and the bar and the other side has a solid link attached to the frame and the bar. When the actuator pushes down it uses the solid link as a fulcrum to lift the opposite side and vise versa when it retracts.

On the back they work they same as the front with a link on one side and a actuator on the other side.

...and the haters say harper7 doesn't know anything about kdss.

Nice info harper7... As usual.

Gary is one of the most helpful people here. I personally appreciate the time he donates to helping everyone out. Thanks!

Ditto. I only hope Thai has to work today.

Still pissy about it, aren't you? You do hold it long.... :peep:

BTW, knowing parts that make up something is one thing...knowing the physics and how it works is another....

Just curious Thai; are you just naturally annoying, or is it intentional to induce traffic?

Hey, i just deal with facts dude. If you find that annoying, then so be it. Look, harper7 is a great guy...but he was absolutely wrong in terms of how KDSS works and how it benefits. I am sure that he knows a ton more stuff than me about 5th gen suspension parts and mods, never said otherwise...i have never argued much with him until KDSS topic came up and i found him to be wrong in the stuff that he told other people. Thus, I presented facts in a logical way to disprove what he contended so that we ALL can benefit...and was not meant as an insult to SR5 or Limited owners. If you take it as that, then you need thicker skin! And, i certainly do NOT want to propagate FALSE information on this forum. Do you not agree?

BTW, 1engineer has accepted that...now that he has seen the facts. You should too. :grouphug:

BTW #2, let's not hijack this thread with your angst against me...feel free to add your comment here: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/141361-kdss-te-vs-non-kdss-sr5.html...or PM me.

No, no Dude, you've got me all wrong - facts are great, it's you that's annoying. Hellz bellz, I never even mentioned it, and your KDSS panties are all in a wad (again).

BTW #2, let's not hijack this thread with your angst against me....

Angst?

No "angst" brah, it's just fun to eye-poke ya.
