KDSS question

Probably a dumb question (or at least one with an obvious answer - just not to me): How do you tell if a Trail has KDSS or not? I'm looking at a 2012 online from a dealer and the salesperson says it does have KDSS but it took a while for her to come up with that assertion.
From the pictures, you can see that it has a large screen display in the middle of the dash (salesperson also belatedly noted that it does have Nav). Since the 2013 with a Nav is part of a package that includes KDSS, I'm assuming that this truck does have KDSS.
Safe assumption.

Been away from 4Runners since I sold my 2000 Sport a number of cars ago.
Seems like a good time to come back to the fold (been trying to buy a Tacoma but it just doesn't feel right).

One way to tell is if it articulates more than an SR5 on a ramp :bolt:

When you start the car, the KDSS light in the right instrument cluster will turn on for 2-3 seconds. This is what happens with mine every time I star the car. If no KDSS light comes on, I would assume it does not have KDSS

Ask the salesperson to run the VIN. That should provide you with a list of allt the equipment on the vehicle.
