KDSS without moonroof?

My 2016 TEP w/ KDSS came with a moonroof, my father's 2017 ORP w/ KDSS has a moonroof as well.

I'm in northern California and a salesman said that, in general, this market usually gets the ORP with the sunroof option. I've checked other local dealer websites and this seems to be true but I did find at least one new one for sale that has the KDSS minus the sunroof...a blue ORP. Leather seats don't come in the ORP, they are "leatherette" or whatever Toyota calls them (and only comes in black). I was sort of pissed that I couldn't get leather at first but the fake leather I really like now. Nothing soaks in and when you have kids, that's a good thing to have. And everyone that gets in thinks it is leather anyway.

I hear ya, thanks for the correction as that's accurate.
I never see the seats anyways as we got https://www.wetokole.com/ quickly after purchase as we're at the beach, forest, desert, dog hair, kid food (both pre and post digestion) often .... and they get sprayed down hanging from the fence with the power washer when the funk starts to get real.

There are Trail and Off-Road trims with and without KDSS.

There are Trail and Off-Road Premium trims with and without KDSS.

The headroom in the 4runners is the biggest drawback. Those at 6’ shouldn’t have to sit on the floor (which is why the Tacoma sucks) to keep their hair from hitting the roof, which is so incredibly unsafe.
