I won't call this a build thread out of respect for the majority on here who do their own labor. For those who can't, due to lack of time or know how, hopefully this gives some insight into costs (parts + labor) for the more basic upgrades.

Timeline
Purchased 2002 SR5 4x4 110k miles $9700 [April 2012]

Replaced Timing Belt $800 [May 2012]

Removed Running Boards [May 2012]

Radiator and Transmission Flush $250 [Jan 2013]

WeatherTech DigitalFit Floor Liners front/back/cargo $290 [Jan 2013]

2.5" Old Man Emu $800 (+$500 install) $1300 Total [Feb 2013]

FN Wheels 16" Five Star Matte Bronze $775 [Feb 2013]

Goodyear Wrangler DuraTracs 265/75/16 $900 [Feb 2013]

$14,500 into it thus far, figure $1500 of that in labor.
As much as I'd like to learn, and I get that for some that's half the fun, for me time is money.

So looks like you stuck with the FN wheels and 265s. Looks good. I'm sure you are enjoying the lift.
Glad you went with Slee offroad. I got my LC coils from them. They seem like great guys (over the phone at least).

Hey man I was thinking about going through Slee as well for my lift..it's nice that they give you a discount on labor for install when you buy the OME kit from them. I was wondering why you got the 60027 shocks for the rear instead of the 60028? When I talked to Ben at Slee he said to definitely go with the 60028's because the ride is much better than the 60027s. How do you like the overall ride with the new suspension setup? I keep hearing OME is too stiff for a daily driver so I'm trying to get different opinions

sorry Android - hadn't logged in for a LONG while and just seeing your question. I'm guessing you've probably already gone fwd with something. honestly, I didn't choose the 27 rear shocks over 28... I just did what they recommended. so it's interesting to hear that they told you the 28s ride better. wtf Slee

in general - the OME ride is pretty stiff but I don't have a lot to compare it to, other than the stock setup and my '00 Tacoma prior (which was very light, thus bouncy). the only other "off road" vehicle I ride in routinely is my buddy's '13 Jeep Wrangler with 33's and a lift. with his solid axle it's like comparing apples to a$$holes. overall, I'm happy with lift - I work from home so I don't really use my Runner as a daily driver. if I could change anything, I might've shopped around for wheels that weren't offset, although my tires don't stick out too far I still wish they were flush with the wheel well. I also had to do more cutting to the front bumper fenders than I anticipated.
