Thanks everyone for the input - definitely helpful to get others' opinions, especially with more knowledge on the topic re: mods. I knew when I added the lift/tires/wheels that I wouldn't see that money again, just didn't know if I could get anything for them. I realize I'd be selling to a niche market if I kept the mods on... and like sn0wrunner said, might luck out with some high schooler who's parents are forking over the cash. It's tough to strictly use KBB and NADA when buying/selling 4Runners in Colorado due to the high-demand. I know guys who will fly to Omaha, Des Moines, etc. just to flip a Runner and make $2k. And having bought two Yotas in the area, and sold my Tacoma, I know firsthand that ppl will pay over the KBB price. But the mods are what I wasn't sure about. Knowing that I'd be very lucky to get $11k for, I'll most likely hold onto it and replace the wheels/tires with something more practical for my needs. RE: the timing belt - guess you guys are right that it's pointless to factor this into the resale... when I bought it at 110k with original belt, it didn't give me negotiating power to lower the price basically bc there were 5 buyers waiting in line behind me, so I paid over the KBB price knowing I'd have to dump money into the belt and tires. Definitely a sellers market and unfortunately it doesn't work both ways when it comes to maintenance.
BTW, here's a pic. Thanks again for the feedback.
