Key Fob Tapping - Thoughts?

Anyone else get tired of the key fob smacking the dash with every little bump or turn? It's really annoying to my. My HEMI has a built-in foam pad below the ignition switch just for this purpose.

Any suggestions on addressing this? I've thought about felt or moleskin, but can't find any that doesn't look terrible with the Stone interior color. A thin, high-density foam grey weather-strip might work, but I haven't had any luck finding any that is both thin and wide. The hard corner just beneath the ignition doesn't make it any easier to stick something there without it lifting above the edge.

What, if anything, have you done to remedy this?

How about this one? Won't prevent it from smacking the dash, but it'll cushion it, to prevent a loud sound.

I was thinking of getting one for my 4Runner & Camry, to prevent the remote from scuffing. And black is very subtle.

Hmmm...that's a thought. I think I'd still rather have the cushion on the dash so that it doesn't matter which set of keys you use or if you have other keys, etc. hanging there, too. I don't hang much on my sets of car keys, but still....

Perhaps an Anti Slip Pad

The same ones you can put on your dash & then place your cell phone on top, so it won't slip off.

I'd probably go that route & try to find a grey one to match the interior, so it's clean like nothing was done to the truck, like it came from the factory that way.

Now that might work. I just need to find one that actually sticks on (most rely strictly on friction to stay on top of the dash).
