So I didn't take alot of photos of the install as they are basically the same as this post:

I did however use a different Sub, situated it differently, and mounted the remote bass unit in a different location. It sounds awesome. I mean, as noted before, this is no 12" sub with 600 watts. They are 8" subs, and with a built in 150watt amp so set expectations accordingly - but I will say this exceeded my expectations - it really bumps. In fact, if you turn it up, it's a 2 in 1 mod - bass and massage chair. One thing I really like about this unit is it has a bass boost, so you can turn that all the way up and it lets you turn the bass on the head unit down, saving your factory speakers from blowing or distortion if you're really jamming. Whole thing picked up at BestBuy for $299, same as on Crutchfield and Amazon.

One problem was the vent for the back seat that it sits on top of, I was worried about blowing hot air onto it all the time:
So, I found these little rubber door stops at home depot (adhesive already on them), trimmed them a little, and stuck the to the bottom of the unit to raise it just slightly to allow air flow:
And finally, I just drilled a hole in the back of this uselessly small cubby and the unit fit perfectly, even with the lid closed. You actually cannot see it at all from the driver or passenger seat. The edge of the unit sits flush with the edge of the cubby, the knob protrudes from there but still does not contact the lid when closed - pretty sweet:
