King coil over question

I have a specific question related to actual lift experienced after install of King coil overs, 2.5 with Resi, part #25001-243A, 14", 550lb coils on 2015 TEP.

The 243A kit originally came with 550lb, 14" coils. I added SSO front hybrid bumper and winch after King install, along with Northstar 31M battery and RCI aluminum skids.

Obviously, I experienced some sag on these 550lb coils and have ordered 14", 650lb coils per recommendations from Brian at King. Brian said the original kit was designed to provide 2"-2.5" lift with no extra weight. And no, I do not have any before/after measurements :ybrick:

Any chance anyone has these coil overs with 650lb springs, with similar added weight and can let me know how much lift was gained (fender lip to center of wheel) over stock?

I know I may be reaching here, but if anyone knows, T4R.org will know!

Thanks

Can't you just adjust the coilover for additional height? That's the nice thing about coilovers, they are adjustable:cheer2:

I CAN just turn the collars, however, I am already at 9 turns and can go to 15. But my understanding is that I am losing some of the benefits of these coilovers (any coilover) when cranking in pre-load.

I really appreciate the response. Lazy me just found this thread that talks to my issue directly.

I have these shocks with 650# coils. I can't comment on the lift because I haven't measured in a while, But they'll work for your setup. I'm running a shrockworks bumper, Warn VR 10,000s and a die hard platinum marine battery and it's perfect.

I think mine are slightly different but I have a 600 lb spring on mine. Definitely wanting to go to a 700 lb. I've adjusted mine and I don't know if it's just that I'm so used to the truck that it looks low, or if it really does keep sagging on me lol.

Thanks to all for your responses. I feel better about 650lb upgrade to front coils purchase.

A lot of this is...give it a go and see if it works. So I am going for it.

Thanks again.
