Kyb or OEM front struts???

Hey guys I just replace my rear shock with OEM toyota's since the price was the same as the kyb's gas a just. However the front ones are $62 each for kyb gas a just vs OEM toyota $115 each. All my driving is highway and city. I'm debating which one will give me a better smoother ride??? I heard that mixing different brand of shocks is not a good idea if this is true I guess I'm gonna have to get the OEM toyota's for the front!!!

i had the non adjustable kyb monomax's on my last 97 sr5 and they rode great, i paid like 90$ a piece but you can find them for about 60 online

Thanks for the suggestion but those are to stiff. I had both in my Tacoma.

we use KYB almost exclusively here at the shop. good quality stuff.

I can't speak for the KYB's but OEM is great if you are stock or close to stock. Bilstein HD's make the ride unpleasant. The 5100's might be better but that is only if you are lifted.

I guess I'll pay the $115 for the OEM. My 4runner is all stock.
