put on a Shrockworks bumper
get Light Racing upper control arms
front body mount chop

Has anyone done a 5th gen body mount chop?

I couldn't find any pictures of 5th gen body mount chops, however looking at FJ Cruiser body mount chops, which I thought were the same frame, they design looks different than the 5th Gen. In looking at where my 33" tires are, I don't see where they would rub if I went to 34", but maybe I'm not being imaginative enough...

After doing the chop, how much additional room do you think you have?

Enough so that I don't rub on the road or trails with the wheels turned and suspension compressed. If you're asking if I feel I could fit larger tires than 285s, then I'd say no, not without getting serious rubbing on the trails.
