LawnDart's Build Thread

LawnDart, where did you get the HDPE? I'm using a bump
Pad right now and the adhesive back does not hold.

Thanks.
Okki

TAP plastics. They're around and it's about 6 dollars for a huge sheet of it.

Will do a good one next week when the CBI bumper goes on, rigid fog lights, etc.

I may have missed it your previous posts, but what window flares/guards do you have installed on here? Look great

It's happened maybe 2-3 times in the 1.5 years I've had them. You just roll them up again. But yes it can happen.

Do the Weathertechs ever activate the safety feature upon auto roll up on the Windows where it rolls the window back down?

I'll post the dual swing out bumper and new aluminum camp table this friday. I got as far as I could within my confidence level regarding re-wiring the bumper, but I took it over to my shop to have them re-add the backup camera, HAM coax, and adding the camp table light (rigid SR-M). I'm also waiting for my new fuel and water scepter tanks. So once that's all in place I'll snap some photos.

so... perhaps I missed it, but incase I didn't.... when do we get to see shots of the dual swing outs?

Nice, looking forward to it. Does the gobi ladder still fit?

Yep. I specifically requested not to have a second table on the driver side so I could allow for more clearance when the vehicle was really bouncing around. Even with the low profile table i found that the ladder and table would sometimes hit eachother on really rough trails.

This weekend, my friend Kennth and I, went out to beat the rather insane heat wave hitting the central Oregon valley (I5 corridor). Opting to camp out on the beach we grabbed our stuff, and met out at Sand Lake OHV near Tillamook Oregon.

We thought it'd be sunny and hot, but instead the marine layer socked us in so we got some incredibly dense fog on the first night, then it was beyond beautiful the following two days.

I also got to try out his XV2, which was in prep for my upcoming XVENTURE trailer.
