LC Lift with 32" Tires - Picture Request

Need to pull the trigger on tires here soon and wondering what they look like? The lower cost is nice but also the huge benefit is power and gas mileage with 32's (10lbs/wheel lighter then 33's - Duratracs). At 3500 ft elevation and often going up and over 5-6,000 the 3.4 is gutless as it is =) I'd hate to live any higher!

The other benefit is C rated VS E rated.

A shot of my 32s, ToyTec COs and 9.25 LC coils (my rig is heavy).

And a shot with 861s.

I'm very happy with the 32s and my lift. I'm running Yokohama A/T-S which run slightly bigger than most 265/75-16. The guys that I wheel with run 285s, 305s, and 315s.

Opinions? Would you guys want to run 33's?

The first truck looks good, the second I'd consider 33's.

I just know 40lbs of rotating mass will see my MPG plummet and I really don't want to drop THAT much power.

Hoping more people post so I can get a better idea!

My LC's are 8wraps and I plan on TRD with 2nd perch 5100's.

IMO, 32's look too small with that much lift. Not being a prick, I'm sure they allow for lots of articulation but they look small. 996's with TRD's upfront look awesome with 32's. My $0.02.

I definitely appreciate the help guys! The pictures are proving to be very helpful, but still not making my decision....

I think 33's may look a bit better to me, but do I want to deal with the power loss and gas mileage because of it....

I drive 35,000 +km a year so it's not a minor change. In a couple years it would pay for a new set of tires kind of difference. Plus gas and tires are expensive up here in Canada.

Looks alright but I'm selling these less than 200 miles to go bigger, I'm going LT front and mldifying rear.
So anyone looking for tires lol $800 for 4 Goodyear mt/r kevlars less than 200 miles at this point.

I think they look too small on my 4Runner, but when I can afford it I will upgrade to 35's and add in a 1" body lift

Funny, I live at over 6k feet and I dont think that 3.4 is gutless... when I head to the mtns its often to 9-11k 'ish... I have a KN cold air intake that gave me most of the torque I lost back... not all of it, but most...

I do have a manual though. MPGs didnt get a whole lot better though, I would say if MPG is that important to you then dont worry about how it looks with the lift...

I have the 265/75R16 BFG Rugged Terrains w/ no lift at the moment, but will be getting the DayStar 1.5" lift w/ a new set of Maxxis Bighorn's in the next couple of weeks. .

I have a manual too, and drive it very tamely. I like to drive the torque curve and shift usually at or before 2500RPM and cruise as low of RPM as possible. Nets me 22-24MPG now....

I just finished putting 100,000 on a 09 Taco DC V6 6speed. That engine has quite a bit more get up and go, yet still underpowered. haha.

I think I need a diesel, but sadly I don't have a use for a HD truck and can get away with these smaller vehicles. I do a lot of camping, dirt biking, snowboarding and snowmobiling, all of which the 4runner can do with making the rest of my life more civilized.

Zach's truck doesn't look too bad for me. Still undecided. Realistically I shouldn't even lift it at all, but what's the fun in that?

LC/Tundra lift with 265 75s (technically 31.7"). It seems to me that rims with a deeper offset make the tires look bigger. My Tacoma wheels make the tires look smaller

Another issue with 33's I just thought about are rubbing. I'm going to be running 05+ Tacoma TRD wheels which would surely make them rub my A-arms requiring spacers and trimming... (stock 4R wheels rub on 33's, the TRD's have even less back spacing)

Tires: 265/70/17 BFG All Terrain

32" tires fit just fine. My MPG did go down a couple, but still acceptable.

Do you have any pictures of the truck from a higher angle, further back?

Lastly, I like the look for the 3rd position, but why is it that everybody puts them on the 2nd? Do you find them stiff or have any issues?
