So I have not been able to find anything online that is similar to what I am looking to do. I have a half din DVD player that I want to mount in my 2006
T4R and then instead of using headrest screens or a ceiling mounted one, I wanted to somehow out a 9" monitor between the two front seats. I was thinking of maybe mounting something on to the actual middle console, but not sure how that would work. Currently, I have the cargo net attached to the headests and a portable DVD player sits in there and is attached to the audio input cable so it can at least be heard through the speakers. It's kind of like a hammock for the DVD player, but this is cumbersome to use and not the best solution. I thought of doing the headrest mounts, and decided I would rather go with the 1 monitor solution. So I need to get a few ideas:
1. Where can I buy a stand alone monitor that will work in the car? It doesn't have to be 9" but just not sure where to start my search
2. Where would be the best place to mount the DVD player and the monitor?
