Leather install

I didnt see anything just looking real quick, I was on the look out for a year or so when I stumbled onto the deal I bought- Good luck on the hunt-

I noticed some of the pictures weren't working for whatever eason so I fixed those. Also I added some updates to show y'all how they have held up so far.

Its been just over 3 years since I did the install and just about 40k miles and they have held up GREAT! I do condition them about 3-4 times a year and I always do the quick leather wipes every time I clean the truck, so about every 2 weeks.

Leather Seat install

After reading this thread a few times I pulled the trigger on a set of leather seats off of Ebay for $350 and will install seat heaters at the same time, wish me luck!

It took me a full day to complete the 2nd row. Started around 8am and finished up about 4pm. I took my time as I removed hog rings to ensure I put everything back together properly. Definitely want to do this with two people if at all possible. I did the passenger seat and drivers seat in about the same time period. Be aware the top and bottom piece have about 12-15 hog rings each. If you don't own a good pair of cable pliers (dikes) get some!

All I have left to do is 3rd row and head rests.
 
Anyone have an updated link to vendors selling these covers? They look great. The only thing I can find on eBay right now that come anywhere close in looks are the Clazzio covers.

wow, we 3rd row seat owners are not much loved by leather seat makers. got to know that when i bought clazzios in 2014, now they light gray section has got some stains..either caused by sun or lack of maintenance...
am thinking of installing new leather, either seatcovers or full install, care to spill where you bought yours?

little tip if you can get hog rings at your local home depot.

8 - 12 inch 40# test zip ties work like a charm.

you dont need two people to do this. experience is actually needed more than manpower. when doing leather, its a good time to consider seat heaters. i think i'm the only one on here with seat heaters on every seating surface in a 4th gen.
 
I have a 2008 Limited V8 and the leather front seats are getting worn. I'd like to remove the existing leather and install new leather. I do not want to put covers over the existing leather. Has anyone done this and been happy with the results? Suggestions on manufacturers?? Thanks.
