Leather seat install - Success

Thanks to Bill on this forum I got a great deal on leather seat's. Install was not the most difficult but it sure was time consuming - my first time working with hog ring pliers and such...

Hands are sore, but now I have leather and took the opportunity to put in seat heaters while I had the seats apart.

Quite a nice upgrade!

it took me around 12 hours total from start to finish. The seat heaters I bought on ebay.

They are really nice. I have not installed the door inserts yet though.

They don't look OEM, where there any tags on the backs of the leather? What did it say? I'm asking b/c I really would like to replace my seats (they are getting hard and somewhat brittle). Having nice/new/buttery soft leather seats would be nice! I'm looking at the seat warmer switches on your center console. Are they the ones with a hi/lo switch (led light)?? If so, those are very nice. I'm thinking of installing them for the rear seats. Where did you plug/splice into?? Sorry for all the questions.................

Sorry, no clue about the vendor on the leather but they are really nice quality. Feel nicer than the OEM on my 09 Yukon, no tags on the seats.

The seat heaters were these:
eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

I used a relay and the relay is triggered by the IGN on and pulling from the 30amp seat power lead.

As long as you don't have old man hands like I 'almost' do - go for it - it is an easy job.
