Leather Seat Replacement

I have a 2008 Limited V8 and I want to replace the leather on the seats. I am not looking for a cover that goes over the existing leather. I know there are various manufacturers of pre-cut leather sections for each seat. I'm wondering if anyone has done this and can recommend a particular brand. I intend to either do the installation work myself or have a local shop do it. I have searched this site but the posts I have found are old and the manufacturers mentioned no longer exist.

I know that LSEATS provides a decent product for Land Cruisers, but according to their website they do not yet have a pattern for a 4th Gen 4Runner.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Look on eBay. I actually got a set of lower leather replacements. Ordered new foam from toyota and had them installed.

Im into about $365 for everything per seat.

Thats an option.....

Clazzio and CalTrend make covers that slip over the existing leather or fabric, and that is not what I want.

Lseats does not have a pattern yet for the 4th Gen. If anyone is interested they will give you a 50% discount if you want to send your existing covers to them so that they can make a pattern. I can't be without the truck that long.

US autoseatcovers on eBay seem good and reasonably priced. They are a good option if you are only doing the seat bottoms.

Upholstery4youride on eBay does not make them for 4th Generation 4Runners, which is too bad as they look pretty good.

I ended up ordering only the driver seat bottom from this company on eBay: Fits 2003 - 2009 Toyota 4Runner Driver Bottom Leather Seat Cover Color Gray | eBay I'll let you know how it looks.

The problem...I bought a new car a few days ago and traded-in the 4Runner. I no longer need the leather seat. If anyone is interested in buying this from me, I will sell it for $175 total and ship it to you. The color is light gray. I can ship it quickly. Message me on here and I'll get back to you.

does the seat leather have the heating element for the heated seats or is the element in the cushion?If so can the old heating element be reused?

Firm foam is sewn and glued to the underside of the leather. There are plastic clips in the appropriate areas to clip it to the frame. There is a cut out on the side panel as needed...some other providers make you cut this out by yourself. A ziplock bag of metal hog rings included.

It does not include a new heating element. I planned to use my existing one.

Did this a couple weeks back over 4th holiday. Took about 3 hours.

new foam and new aftermarket replacement leather lower. used zip ties

Does the replacement seat bottom look and feel just like the original? Which vendor on Ebay did you buy it from?
