LED Front Turn Signal Problem

What's up guys? It's been a while since I've posted.

I've got a problem that I can't figure out through searching this forum or the internet.

I bought LED bulbs to replace the halogen bulbs for the front turn signals. I installed them and they would not even turn on. I bought a LED flasher relay thinking that it might help, but it did not.

I have LED bulbs in the corners and LED tail lights. I'm not sure if that contributes to the problem.

Did you try turning the bulb around? Some are polarity sensitive.

No the corner and brake/tail bulbs shouldn't have anything to do with the turn signals

If flipping them around doesn't do the trick, they may just be bad bulbs. Out of the last batch I bough 2 out of 10 were DOA. Chinese junk! :thanks::ak472:

Yes. I tried flipping them and swapping them. No luck.

I read a little bit about having to add resistors, but didn't know if is was applicable in this situation.

I guess I could send them back for another set.

Find a old power cord that has the 12VDC inverter box on it for your house. Something like an old router or modem power cord. Cut the end off and strip the wire for the 2 lead wires. I usually have an old one laying around somewhere. Or you can just solder it back when you are done if you need it. I did this to a car stereo that uninstalled and needed a CD I left in it. You can check the bulbs out that way if you want to be sure they work.

how did you put them in the corners? that may have something to do with it not working.
