I ment the 12v power as you stated. Is there a wire we know of this could tapped into for the power? (like blue wire off xxxx switch)

Just wanted to say thanks to perhaps an old on-going thread that helped me. I can't do a lot of work myself on my truck as my back is failed but...
Went with that 32" Opt7 LED bar behind the grill. I paid my mechanic friend's son to install it with the included switch and harness.
He had ZERO issues but I think he has a knack.
Either way, that sucker is bright. I don't have a huge need 4 it as I am unwell right now but when I get to off road again in CO, UT- I am excited. I tried it ou in a parking lot- no big deal right? Just switched it on not towards cars and such.
Got on what they call "Powers Blvd" in CO and the ticket hungry cops came out. Followed me a while and he "let go" once I was near home. I really did nada wrong but they love to ticket here.
THANKS FOR THE HELP. Now for a CHEAP but perhaps NOT JUNK roof rack. Perhaps just the standard load warrior. Just want it for my next road trip.

i used to live in stetson hills and went to sand creek high school. did u happen to go with the rage mounts as well? interested in seeing the switch that comes with their kit as i like the blue light AOB switch

Hey there. I live right by Stetson Hills. In Old Farm actually.
So my buddy fashioned the mounts himself for me then painted them black. Did it for cheap. The best way to describe the switch is really a basic black that has a small led red light that glows when it's on. It's sufficient for my needs but price is a big factor for me. I have no business with the machine as I am still disabled due to failed spine fusions but I have to have the basics ya know? Plus I need to get a roof rack. Probably the loadwarrior. Something I can handle.
If you look at the top of this link, though it's a C1, it has pretty much the same switch. It's better than I expected after reading some concerns. It fits on just fine and works with the layout on the 2017 4Runner I have. I really can't complain.

i see a few people using the 32" OPT7 C2 LED Light Bar. which one specifically and are there any other 32" that are recommended. i also want to get one that goes well with the led cube fogs.

10mm and a phillips screwdriver and you'll be able to get in there with no issues.

rigid light bar to AOB switches
I purchased Rigid light bar (radiance +) installed behind the bumper and want to hook it up to the AOB switches however i can't find a wiring diagram which shows the AOB switch harness to rigid light wiring kit. Here are a few pics of what i'm dealing with, hope someone can help me out.

one switch has a red, blk and blue wire
the other has a red, blk and white
you can see the red is connect to both switches

Could you explain why this occurs?
Also, I love the 9006 extension idea. Anyone find an extension for the harness on the toyota switch? That way tapping in to light the dimmer would be 100% reversible too.

I don’t quite understand the question you are asking. “Why what occurs”
If you have a switch, you have to have a trigger source (12V power) going thru the switch to provide a circuit to power the relay side that makes hot the connection between the battery and the light bar.
If your trigger wire is connected to the high beam, the only time the switch is made hot is when the switch is depressed and you turn on your high beams.
Now, if you have the trigger wire connected to a hot side fuse, then that trigger is continuously hot, so to turn on / off your light bar, you must depress the light bar switch each time.
Don’t know of any other harness for the toyota switch.

Just completed an install following along with this thread’s knowledge. Everything is working fine, but one thing seems off:
The AOB switch does dim with the dash lights, but the lighting is always on when the ignition is on. The wiper warmer button (which I tapped the green and gray wires) does not illuminate with the headlight controls in the off position. Is this a function of the AOB switch or did I somehow manage to do something wrong?

Ok, lighting should only be on when the light switch is turned on, on the stalk. Prolly have the two of the wire not in the correct location on the switch. I seem to remember some of then having been shipped out like that. Check wire color and location on switch referenced in my diagram. ( I just checked my extra switch wires and they are as indicated on the diagram. )
That wiper warmer switch should only illuminate when you turn your lights on, not when the ignition is turned on.
Then the little light bar indication above the wiper etching on that switch should light when the wiper warmer switch is depressed and go off when depressed again or until it times out.

Hey guys .... question.
I just installed a led bar behind the grill using MICTUNING switch.
Wired everything like in this thread but this is what is happening.
The switch lights up with the dash as normal, but once i push the switch to turn on the led bar, the switch light goes out. Then it comes back on when i turn the led bar off.
Any suggestions??
