Ok, so I did my gauge cluster today (not as easy as I expected, but I didn't break anything, so that's a plus). I'm a bit put off by the hotspots, however.

I've noticed that the dispersion pattern isn't going to be the same between the incandescent bulb and the LED (see pic below). Has anyone found a workaround to get the light to spread more evenly?
I'll note that I have a 2001 t4r, so the chart above indicates #24 bulbs. I looked pretty extensively online and was only able to find the design pictured here. I'm guessing that I'm stuck with the #24s and can't use, for example, a 194?
