LED lights in lift gate hand holes?

So I have searched.. and maybe I just suck at it... but

Has anyone successfully mounted LED lights in the lift gate hand hold cutouts? I would like some lights to the rear while liftgate is open. Id like to copy somone over trying to figure (screw) it out (up). Thanks!!!

not in the handle but on the hatch panel itself. these provide more usable light.
