LED sizes ?

I have a 2001 Sport 4x4 and I've been trying to find out exactly what size and how many led bulbs I need to replace all of the interior lights in blue.
There are so many threads with different years and bulb numbers and sizes, but no where that I can find that tells specifically what I need.

I know I need 3 to 5, #194's or #158's (which is it?)
Roughly 10, #74's (I don't mind if I have a few extras either)
4, # DE3175 for the dome, map, and cargo lights
And 3 to 7 neo wedges, AT3's and or BT4's

I also don't know what base and tall dimensions in milimeters I need for each.
I have read countless threads here and on YotaTech in the last few days and I can find no definate answers. I feel like I'm going in circles.
I have read a couple posts stating the some bulbs were too long also.
I'm new here and I appollogize if there is a chart or definate answer somewhere, but if so I have been unable to find it.
My 4runner is my daily driver and I have alot of parts waiting to go on it now.
The last thing I want to do is take everything apart(which I know isn't that big a deal) only to find out the bulbs I ordered are the wrong sizes or part numbers.
Can someone please confirm what I need for an 01, or provide a link to somewhere that does.
Thanks alot for any help.

use the search function but make sure you use the GOOGLE SEARCH BAR at the top of this page. The forum's built in search will not give results for the term 'LED' since it is less than 4 chars.

I have been searching and I've found plenty of info.
Unfortunately it seems as though one thread contradicts the other.
The vehicle bulb recomendations on a couple led bulb sites are also different.
Some people use one bulb number and others use another, like 194s instead of 158s. Some threads also state that some of the 194, 158, 74s were too long, as they are avaible in different base and tall sizes.

63 veiws and no answer, I'll just have to buy different sizes and extras to know for sure then.

Dah not another one lol! Seriously there was a thread up maybe a week ago where 4Ripcord made a really pretty spreadsheet of everything you needed for every year of 4runner. If its found I would wish that admin could make it a sticky cause these threads are getting numerious and annoying.

Dont be offended cause nobody replied. These threads come up constantly and most of the time it's some guy who is brand new. But only joined the forum to change the color of his lights. Then we never hear from them again which is fine your not committing to an agreement or anything. We just hope for some equal contribution etc.

Anyway, I couldn't even find a proper led thread using the google search function either but they are in there but I'll give what you need

194 are not for any of your interior lights. Those will work only in your parking lights and Licence plate lights
You will need 3#24's for your speedometer
4#74's for the key ring, glove box, shifter and cig lighter
2 neowedge 2mm for your defrost, rear window and etc buttons
3 neowedge 3mm for HVAC knobs

Thank you very much. I'm here to learn what I can and contribute whatever I can.
I'm on Hayabusa.org also, I have around 5k posts there.
I'm also a former mechanic. I'm glad to offer whatever sportbike or car advice/help that I can.
I understand what you're saying as we see tons of repeat questions there too. I also don't mind helping those folks out either, as the search function there is about as bad as it is here. A thread I may find today would be gone tommorrow.
I did ALOT of reading and searching, and I was unable to find the info you just gave me. I hope it gets a sticky.
Thank you again.

there is a lot of info out there

perhaps you are not searching the correct terms.

type "dash lighting 4runner" into google. links to the answer should be on the first page.

The answer I needed is above in post #5, aside from base and tall metric measurements. Which I would like to have also, so I don't end up with bulbs that are too long.
I googled "dash lighting 4runner" and got nothing about required bulb sizes, only countless threads about dash lights being on. I have tried searching many different words, titles, and ways as well.
I'de love to find the thread mentioned above with a chart by Ripcord.
I've noticed on a couple forums that as technology "advances" and updates to Google and search engines are put into use, that the ability to find information gets worse.
I have tried searching threads by specific title on other forums also, they once were easily found, and now are now impossible to recover. I'm not a fan of google for this reason.
I also continue to get the same links that have my question, but those same links do not contain the answer.

Dang man your getting beat up here haha. I'm not sure what the metric sizes are I do k ow that the all 24's fit snug. The 74's on the other hand take some work to stick for some odd reason. It's just the key ring and glove box light that I personally had trouble getting to stay but I just spread out the wire contacts and they've been working for a few years now.

Check out autolumination.com they have your measurements for all the bulbs. Just don't buy them there. VLEDs is where I get mine. They ship really fast and I think they even have a guide too. They just have less options. And then there superbrightleds which is an ok product too.

Good luck man and thanks for your willingness to contribute when you can
