LeD swap something fried

So I was putting a door led in next thing you know all the door lights go out map lights dome light frOnt and rear and my key fob all went out I checked a couple fuses they are all fine also my clock and mpg visor lights all out and the guages freak out for 10 seconds what can I do ? Thanks

remove the led u put in door, then check the dome fuse under the hood.

I believe it's fuse # 17 under the hood (2003 V8). Red 10A. If you have a V6 it may be different. Check the manual or fusebox cover for the proper location. The trouble you are having sounds like a blown fuse.

i do have a v6 but all my fuse's are fine and i did remove the led prior to posting any ideas? thanks for the feed back

checked all the fuses no luck getting ready to take it to the stealer ship anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried replacing the dome light fuse in the engine compartment? (sometimes a fuse can look ok, but be bad).

Was installing a map light led and same thing happened. Dome light fuse was blown.

same thing happened to me. all i had to do was replace the dome light fuse under the hood. simple as that. recheck the fuses, the problem has to be there

well that makes sense ill toss my spare into the dome slot and get back to yall thanks for the help i figured the problem had to be in the fuse box aswell

and yall are right ! replaced with a spare now that i look at the fuse very close it is burned awesome i feel much better and my fob is in use again Thanks guys!
