I know most of you have 2014+ but for those with a 2010-2013, I used these bulbs. Direct fit, no fast flash. Super bright. No issues yet and have been using them for 2 weeks.

have any for your rears? thanks for the post, was looking at some for my 12 and can't find many posts, most everyone is newer

I haven't bought any for the rears yet. I did the fronts because an original bulb burned out. Be aware though, these lights are VERY bright. They are amber/orange, but you can still see reflections off street signs and such during the day even. I don't drive with the running lights on though so it doesn't bother me to have them bright when turning.

1. Are you still loving them?
2. The website had a note for the 7440 rears about possible overheating with extended use and going into hyperflash. I wonder if that’s a problem if you had the 4-way emergency flashers on for a long time.
Have you noticed any problem like this?

I really like these Lasfit LED’s, easy install, no splicing or resistor needed.
Reduces the amber in the housing when not on
Parking light mode
And they’re the brightest when Turn signals are activated

Got a link to the bulb that you got which is a switchback? I guess the switchback allows the lower brightness for parking lights?

Just installed mine last night and used the blinkers a bunch, with no issues so far. I only have the rears for right now, and they are extremly bright.
First picture, left is new led, and right oem. second picture is both installed.

Yep, still have them and loving them. They are very bright and work really well. I've only noticed the hyperflash twice and it was on the hottest day of the year and me sitting at a red light for greater than 5 minutes. All I had to do was click the turn signal stick to off, then back to the turn signal and it went right back to normal, not a big deal

LED Tail Light Turn Signals
I wanted to upgrade my weak incandescent OEM turn signal bulbs on my 18 ORP to LED. For the rear bulbs I got the amber 7440/7441 LASFIT LED bulbs based on forum member recommendations here. 7440 W21W CAN-BUS Anti Hyper Flash LED Turn Signal Lights, Amber Yellow - Lasfit Auto Lighting
Trying to install them from inside the trunk, I realized that there’s not enough slack in the harness to orient and insert the much longer LED bulb into the taillight housing. So I had to remove the whole taillight assembly for easier access to the bulb and socket. I spent a small amount of time searching the forum for guidance and realized that after removing the the 10mm nuts and the tailgate connector from the inside, behind the access cover, you have to pull off the taillight from the outside.
I started with the passenger side. I had to find a little fingerhold on the inside hatch edge (left) side of the housing and a pressure fit with my palm on the (right) outside edge. Using a lot of force to break it free pulling straight outward, no twisting or turning, it released with a loud pop. There are two tabs that hold it in place on the passenger side; one is a metal bulb-like tab, the other is a rectangular plastic tab that rotates. When you re-install the taillight assembly you need to orient that plastic tab just right. Plus there’s a small circular channel that fits over a white button on the external side of the fender.
On the driver side there are two metal tabs, no plastic rectangular tab.
The LED bulb installs easily now. Line up the taillight housing and temporarily plug in the white connector to test the LED for the correct polarity by turning on the 4way emergency flashers. Now you can see the difference and how bright the LEDs are.
Line up the tabs, push the housing into place, install the two nuts, and enjoy your super bright rear turn signals.
Note: The LASFIT website describes the possibility of hyperflash if the flashers are On for a long time. To test this I left the hazard flashers On for over 10 minute on a 90F+ day and they did not hyperflash. Although they did get into a shortened flash mode. That is, a shortened flash On time. Normally they blink On for 0.5 seconds, Off for 0.5 seconds. After several minutes of continuous blinking operation they continue to blink but the On time is only about 0.2 seconds. Apparently there’s a thermal fusing function that turns off the LEDs if they get too hot.
So far I’m pretty pleased with their function. They are amazingly bright. I pity the fool who is behind me at night in the left turn lane with my flasher on!

i literally destroyed my hands trying to install those without taking off the housing.....lotta sharp corners near that area.

Ouch. Yeah, access is awful there.
I also replaced the front turn signal bulbs with the 7443/7444 ambers as suggested by [MENTION=51033]97BlackAckCL[/MENTION]. Getting access to those bulbs is not hard but you have to remove fender liner screws and reach way up to get to them. Just follow the directions in the 4R user manual.

Beware of "toyota's DNA collectors" while changing your rear blinkers if you do not remove your rear headlight housings... is what toyota should put in their manual...lol.

You really didn't need to take your light out. Just disconnect the wire, install the bulb, and the connect the wire back. Took me less than 1 minute to install them each.

electroboy is just pointing out it might be easier to remove the housing.
I installed mine without removing the housing also.

Aha. That’s a good idea. I actually started to do that on one but stopped because I was afraid my fat fingers would drop the bulb into the light housing.
