Less than 500 miles on the new T4R LE and already exhaust rattle

The rattle is only at low RPMs, but c'mon!
Not real happy that we haven't owned the truck a month yet and it already needs serviced.
Do you know exactly which part of the truck is rattling?

It's definitely coming from underneath the truck and sounds just like exhaust rattle. It's only really noticeable when in gear and at low RPMs.
I guess it could be something else loose under the truck (skid plates, maybe?). Based on the sound, I assumed exhaust rattle.

The heat shield is notorious for this in the 4th gen (4th and 5th very similar). Also, gravel can get into the skids if you've been in the dirt. Finally, loose skids by themselves can do this though it seems unlikely from the factory (more likely after the dealer has had a chance to strip the skid plate bolts as they seem to love to do).
It should be easy to check and tighten things up under there. Probably 12mm socket.

I still have this rattle in gear and low RPM acceleration. Checked underneath and asked dealer looking at it once. No luck. It is coming from underneath the area where engine and transmission meets.

Follow the battery ground cable from the battery and where they meet under the engine on the drivers side there's a heat shield held on by 2 12mm bolts protecting it from manifold heat . It was rattling on mine when I first got my truck. It's a bad design and the was loose even with the bolts tightened. I took it off and put washers on it to fix it.
Thanks to Harper7's information and I did find the same heat shield on mine that was loose and pointed it to dealer. Dealer ordered new bolts and replaced it on mine and it is not loose anymore. However, the rattle is still there and the sound is coming from places a bit close on the passenger side underneath.
