[MENTION=76633]42s on u[/MENTION]...that's cool as hell how you fitted your tool box in with the roll bar. That's a really good use of space. Way cool...this was similar to my first idea, but now I want something more like GVL. Just so I have to abilities to store/lock up long guns and pistols.

Thanks guys, I was going for simple and effective and love the way it came out. I'll take a few more pics and dimensions and post a "cargo for non-carpenters" type of thread in the next day or two. I found the heavy bins online, I'll include that info too.

not a sick mod but definitely JUNK**** in my truck, with the exception of my jumper cables and my sk8

Previously had two of these giant Plano bins (the hinges suck, never buy). One being camping equipment filled to the brim, the second was recovery gear and about half full. These things are freaking gigantic, fitting a cooler was possible until dogs became an essential for any adventure.

So I got this Kilpin ATV storage bin to move recovery stuff to. Mounted with ubolts through the bottom of the bin (drilled) and then triple-secured via rubber straps.

Previously my ubolts holding roof rack on were installed the way the mfg suggested, and that sucked. I flipped the fronts, will probably flip rears (pictured) tomorrow.

Moved solar panel underneath the rack, previously thought that mounting like this would seriously hinder panel output. Multimeter begs to differ - and it takes all of 15 seconds to free the panel and relocate should I be stationary for any length of time.

The box mounted (again, has bolts underneath, wing nuts for easier removal and swapping between Ram, and is very secure)

New view of the rear, with the second plano box now removed and sitting without purpose in my living room. Shovel secured to the bin because I'm too lazy to screw around with the quickfist grips have, also sitting without purpose in living room.

Solar battery wedged tight between seats, puppy platform, sleeping bag (took pillows and sleeping foam mats out for pic)
