level without using spacers

i read the long thread regarding using the toytec 1/2 inch spacers with longer studs to lift the front however that obviously does nothing for the squashy ride and handling.

another concern i have regarding using the spacer lift is since the car is leveled while parked.. how does this effect when there are things/people in the car.. wouldn't that make the back sag?

what are other options.. i saw toytec's 5100 shock kit with adjustable front shocks.. will that stiffen up the ride? are the shocks adjustable height without taking the wheel well apart? let's say after the install i want to adjust the front height can i do it without taking the wheels off?

i guess i need someone with the 5100 on stock springs to chime in..

another option i read is getting springs on stock shocks.. which sounds like it will not stiffen up the ride as much..

Yep!

The 5100's with stock springs will help a lot, but the ride will still be "OEM like", just more firm., and not overkill. You can lift the front (.85), get rid of some of the nose dive while braking, and still have a pretty smooth drive about.

It will stiffen the ride, depending on what springs you get. Shocks, well, absorb shocks, aka dampen the springs.

I know it can get confusing with suspension setups that will work for you and what works well together. It depends a lot on how you drive/will drive your 4R...Will you go off roading a lot...Will you daily drive and off road sometimes...Will you never go off road...Do you want a smooth OEM like ride, just better shock absorption and handling...ad nauseum. But in order to get the right setup, ask yourself these questions, then you can get to a start point with what will work for your application.

Another suggestion would be to search this forum, there is tons of info here on the very questions you are asking.
