So I have been getting into using programs like AutoDesk and Sketch-Up (I wish I could afford Solidworks
) anyways, I was hoping if any of you guys knew where I could find some shared CAD files that are accurate?
For example, Rockcrawler.com had these images on their article about the 4th gen:
ref- ROCKCRAWLER.com - 2003 Toyota 4Runner First Look
I also found a complete 4Runner rendering (I guess done by 3D scanner?) for like $500 (ouch
) but it looks like mostly exterior and interior panels & such, which would be helpful for some other projects, but nothing mechanical.
I found some files in Sketch-Up's online sharing library but I am uncertian how accurate they are in terms of matching up to real life dimensions & shapes...
Figured I'd ask around and see if you guys had any good/affordable sources I could check out as it would make prototyping things much easier and cheaper if I could just work out most of the kinks in CAD first.
Thanks for your help in advance!
