What are you using to mount your Hella lights?

I made some brackets using a thread momo made http://www.toyota-4runner.org/engin...loating-front-bumper-mounts-install-pics.html however, I came to the same conclusion he did, the lights are way too wobbly. Im ordering cbi ditch light brackets in the next few days

I am planning on doing the same lift but without the top plate spacers. How much lift did you get?

Did you need aftermarket UCA's?

Did you do anything with the sway bar? How does it drive?

I didnt do top plate spacers either and I got about 2.75 in of lift up front and 2 in in the back so it still has a little rake which is what I wanted. No, I dont need new UCA's but I will get some at some point. So far I havnt done anything with the sway bar, but I will be getting extended rear links at some point also. It rides EXTREMELY well, I absolutly love the ride. Its stiffer, but not in a bad way. On the interstate it wanders a bit more cause of the caster but it doesnt bother me. Hope this helps

When you say it wanders, do you mean it follows the road grooves, or do you mean it pulls one direction or the other if you let go of the steering wheel?

It's hard to explain, wanders is probably not the right word. The steering just isn't as tight as it used to be. It tracks strait and everything but I might take it to a different shop to try and get better caster numbers. It's such a minimal difference that it hardly bothers me at all and I drive the interstate everyday to school and work. New UCA's at some point should fix it. My dads lifted tundra has the same problem but his is much worse than mine and he just ended up getting used to it.

Saw this so I figured - ehh, why not! 4-6" adjustable Toytec lift on what were 33" Nitto Mud Grapplers until I swapped over to Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs.. And I've never been happier. #06T4RSR52WD

This is 5100s on the 2.5" setting and stock coils springs up front and ToyTec 2.0 coils and 5100s in the rear. The tires are 255/80/17 BFG KM2s and I couldn't be happier with this tire size. I am EXTREMELY happy with the lift/tire combo. Had a little rubbing up front, but luckily it was just on the mudflaps, so I removed them and it hasn't rubbed since! It's perfect!





They stuff nicely!

Unsure of how much lift this is??? Bought the vehicle from the toyota dealsr i work at. Rear shocks say OME has 17" FJ wheels and 265/70/17 nitto terra grapplers. Only reason id like to know how much lift is on it is i might add a 1/2" body lift if possible. Thanks in advance!!!!! Definately has new springs etc. But want to add 1/2 to 1" if i can with no issues. Will take a better pic tomorrow!!

Looks like to me you won't have a problem adding a 1/2 inch BL

Yeah, still not sure what is going on, but I also have a lifted Tundra and it doesn't do any wandering. Bigger, wider tires will follow the ruts in a road, ruts being the two grooves that are created in the roadway due to settling in the pavement from the weight. It's very noticeable on some roads.
