Honestly, they ride pretty well, only issue is the rub when reversing, or braking and sharper turns, but since the suspension finally settled I'm going to raise it up a bit and see what happens..!

Your runner probably ride better also cause of the duratracs, I had Nitto MTs at the time. The duratracs have a good ride for such an aggressive tire

I currently have a 2.5 daystar with origional springs and shocks. I plan to swap the spacers for Bilstein 5100s coupled with 885s and superflex coils, but for now I'm thinking of adding a body lift with my spacers. My question is, does anyone think I can clear 285 70 17s with the 1" body lift plus my 2.5 spacers? With the spacers alone I rubbed pretty bad after my offset rims. Only 265 70 17s on a 4.5 backspace.

Seriously...I'm shocked at how well they ride..just a slight hum..but I know they'll get louder as they wear down..but I've only taken off the front mud flaps. I still rub when making the front flex a bit..and in reverse..but I don't mind it too much..lol

My lift & tires
Bilstein 5100s front set to 1.75, Moog 4wd FJ Cruiser coils (I gained about 3" in the front, and about 1.5" in the rear. My stock springs were sagging badly).
265/70/R17 Toyo Open Country AT II on Limited wheels.
There's a little bit of negative rake that's really only noticeable on flat ground, and I'm hoping the fronts will settle a bit and take that out. Otherwise, I may add spacers in the rear.
The ride is great. Firm and smooth, but not jarring. The Toyos are as quiet or quieter at freeway speeds as BFGs I had on my Land Cruiser. And the price was great! $150 each with free shipping.

So I'm planning on throwing a 3" Toytec lift on my 05 SR5 and had a few questions. The lift is just gonna be 3 inch spacers on the front and then 2 inches added on the back with rear coil springs. I talked to a few mechanics around my area and a majority of them said that not only would it ride pretty bad. But eventually my upper control arms are going to see some issues if I didn't replace those and my shocks to after market. I was wondering if any one has this lift or if anyone agrees with what they had to say about that.
Hey saw you have the courser mxt. How are they holding up? Are they wearing quickly?
