Minor rubbing, had to remove the mud flaps and push forward the wheel well about 3/4-1 inch, didn't need to cut bumper at all.

I tried running with the 1.25 spidertrax and the -6 offset at first with bad body mount rubbing. Without the spacers, they clear the body mounts fine.

After removing front mud flaps, I have no rubbing up front. At full stuff in the back it may just begin to contact the rear mud flaps... Waiting for a real trail run to assess the rubbing at full compression.

So far I'm loving the Kuat rack - The tensioning cam doesn't work as well as it should. There is a little too much play, but it doesn't wobble on the paved roads, so It's working great... Wish they had an aluminum version, cause it's a bit heavy back there, but it seems bomb-proof.

Well it looks great as is now. I imagine the 1.25 + -6mm offset would have been way too much, giving it that "bulldog" stance, IMO. Good deal on the not rubbing part. I'm about to up-size tires and dread having to deal with it.

I've heard that about the Kuat's tensioning cam but it shouldn't really be much of an issue, especially on paved roads as you mentioned. I would take the bombproof, heavier rack any day. My T2 isn't exactly light either...probably around 50lbs...but I love it.

EDIT: I just wanted to add, those wheels look amazing without the center caps. I've never really considered them that much but i've never seen them w/out the center cap until now. I'm just not a big, bulky center cap kinda guy I guess.

Looks nice. I presume you have the Daystar 2.5/1.5 and the tires are 275/65/18? Do you have any rubbing with that combo? Do you have Spidertrax as well? I have that setup and I am considering that same tire size.

There are a few bumper choices out there. My favorite is the Demello Offroad. Unless you go with fiberglass fenders, there aren't any options for flares. A bunch of us have been trying to get Bushwacker to produce some flares for the 4th gen but they haven't done anything yet.

Demello makes some good bumpers! I might go with one of those if I don't end up building my own bumper.

I got it all installed on Thursday and drove straight up north....back in town today's performing tighter turns and there is some rubbing....looks like the plastic on the wheel well...

I moved the wheel well's forward and it relieved all rubbing, still ordered spacers as on a complete locked out turn it rubs the uca.

finally got the ol girl up in the air, as well as new tires and rims. 265/70R18 terra grapplers for rubber and a mix of ome/bilstein/fj on the lift. wheels are port installed fj cruiser enkei's. sliders and skids in the works.

New lift / Bilstein 5100s

Finally!! Installed new Cooper ST MAXX 265 70 17s E Rated with Bilstein 5100s all the way around. Front set at 1.75" and added a daystar 1.5 in the rear. Still has rake and should have moved it to the 2.5 setting but ill live with it till i get some OME coils. Ride is definitely changed from XREAS car feel, but it is still very smooth and takes the bumps well! Tires are PSI 47F and 45R. Still playing around with pressure. Alignment today was able to get everything within spec so pretty happy there. Overall, pretty satisfied w the way it came out.
