Gotcha. Looks good. I’m so torn on what rack to get. i want a full length. Really leaning toward Gobi but always look at options. Spending 1300 on rack kinda sucks but it just looks so right on the runner.

Look at bajarack then. I paid 650 ish for mine. Almost no wind noise, it's strong and they have a plethora of stuff you can add on to carry a hi lift, spare tire, Jerry cans etc. Plus their customer service is way better than gobi's.

I've seen there’s. Your pics help. Am i correct it eliminated the factory roof rails? Would you say with the light bar addition it would pretty much be the length of the roof?

Yes it does eliminate the rails. My light bar is on the front bumper actually. It's a few inches short of the roof is all I would say.

Yeah i just noticed that the_josh has that rack with the light bar addition. After looking at his build (ridiculous btw) i am now pretty sold on the Baja rack. Thanks dude.

I have the Rola Roof Basket (short version) and I really like it. It utilizes the factory cross bars and, for the price, you can't go wrong. It's not as nice as the Gobi or Baja, but I like it.

Thanks, thats a rolla rack with the extension, I think it was $260 all together. It just clamps to the factory rack and its been getting loose on dirt roads , think I need to put some foam padding inside the clamps. Its cheap but def stronger than the factory cross rails that it bolts to. I dont have any pics of just the rack right now, but i will get some. I do have multiple angles of it though just

Finally got my Machine Finished 18x9 Method Standards in and installed today. Thanks to vtecmonster & Dawg4Runner for the help with some questions before i ordered. I couldn't be happier with the look.

Make sure you seal the screws and joints with silicone or it'll rust bad. Mine did.[/QUOTE

I actually read all of the bad stuff on here before I bought it,the paint does suck so I painted it with 3 coats of satin black and then clear coated it and I put lots of silicone in the joints. The silicone just looks like welds because I painted over them. The welds look pretty ****ty but its not noticeable ,only if you are looking for welds on the roof of mt truck. I hope that the little bit of extra effort extends the life of my cheapo rack for a while. Winter is almost here. Heres a pic of the roof rails being prepped too. Took my time blacking these out since its more or less permanent. Its been holding up well, the rails have 6 coats of satin black krylon (i think) and 3 clear coats.

T4R Forum inspiration

Wanna begin by saying thanks to everyone on the forum for giving me an inspiration to make my truck look good, especially thanks to nethngbtstk, T4rman, gaterose. I've installed daystar kit 2'5/1'5 and 20' ultra gauntlet wheels with nittor terra grappler 275/55/20. My mechanics installed the lift in a such a way, that i did not need an alignment, truck rides very nice and we did some triming of the front wheel well and front mud flap. Forum is giving me problems, but ill be posting more pics when i can.
