Ha yeah not on this build. Hopefully I'll have a side 1st gen to work on soon.
That's my plan as well, maybe a bobbed p/u. :wink2:

It's the only way I'll go that big in tires again. The gas mileage I got in my 2000 was horrible. I've always wanted to build a 1st gen and V8 swap or JZ swap it.
I can finally post in here!
Went with the OME light duty setup, and Toytec Superflex rear coils. Love the stance and the ride. Also, one of the guys in our local club gave me his 17" tacoma rims with Firestone Destination MT's for free!

Wrong threadPlasti dip badges
Front ome 885/ 5100 and rear stock coils w/2.5 revtek spacer w/ Monroe coilover shocks.
Cooper stt 265/70/17 tek3
Like it so far, it works for what I need it to do.
I'm looking at OME struts/coil and OME rear shocks. Just wondering if there is any reason you went with 5100's and not the OME struts and shocks? I was looking at 5100's but was told that OME is the best shock for 4Runners.
Thanks

Looks really nice. You should paint (or Plasti Dip) the Billet inserts black.
yup going 285s
LOL... did I just wipe out any doubt in your mind?

Hmm. Hadn't thought of that option. Thanks momo, I may try that.
